About the
project

The Tze’elim PV facility, located in the Negev desert, is the largest commercially operated photovoltaic project in Israel to date. The first stage of the project was completed in 2019 with a capacity of 120 MW and the facility was expanded in 2022, increasing the total capacity to 143 MW. Electricity produced at Tze’elim is sold to Noga, the Independent System Operator of Israel.

A note by the project manager

The Tze’elim PV power plant generates clean energy for thousands of residents in Israel, utilizing the abundant renewable energy of the Negev: the sun. Our dedicated team works to ensure the highest standards of efficiency and reliability at the site.
